The hollow statuette is cast and represents a bird perched on an anchor-shaped base stand; it is an imitation of a bronze statuette of the 15th-14th centuries BC, excavated from Lchashen. The ends of the anchor terminate in two stylized miniature sculptures of single frogs.
In old beliefs, the bird was linked with the heaven and the sun, and a frog symbolized water and fertility. As a bell and an amulet warding off evil, the statuette was fixed at the front part of a cart or a palankeen.
