The statue is a highly artistic piece of the late Hellenistic period discovered in Armenia. The woman is shown standing and wearing a fine chiton, which is tied with a thin belt under her breast and slid down, uncovering her left shoulder. The himation, thrown over the chiton, wraps her body and comes down to the pedestal in splendid heavy folds
