Description

The aim of this illustrated catalogue is to present selected artifacts discovered during the excavation of Stone Age sites in Armenia over many years of research.
This volume includes materials attributed to the Oldowan and Acheulian traditions of the Lower Paleolithic, estimated to date to between 1,9-1,75 and 0,4-0,33 million years BP. With a large amount of illustrated artifacts, a chronological chart, and photographic images of sites, as well as images reflecting the scientific analysis of the discovered materials, this volume is intended for professionals, students, and a wide range of readers interested in archaeology and the history of development of technological thinking.
