Published upon the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, National Academy of Sciences, Republic of Armenia.
The book was prepared on the basis of the unique samples from the collection of rugs of the History Museum of Armenia, and also includes stickers with the ornaments of Armenian rugs.
In the dissertation based on numismatic data the author analyzes the legal and political relations of Armenia with its neighbouring countries during the Sasanian and Arab periods and shows Armenian’s special legal status in the region.
