On the eve of the Book Giving Day, from February 15, you can purchase the book-catalogue “The Armenian Traditional Costume” by Lilia Avanesyan and Astghik Israelyan at the shop of the History Museum of Armenia. Traditional clothing is an integral part of Armenian national culture. It is rich and varied, with all the interesting pieces. According to the regions, the forms, styles, colours, combinations of parts, everyday and festive and ceremonial dresses are different. The jewellery that completes the dresses and is mandatory is also emphasised.
