Plate with the image of a bird

Description

This plate decorated with a painting is reproduced from a clay plate made in Dvin in the 11th – 12th centuries. A crane standing in profile, with a snake coiling in its beak, is shown inside the vessel. A lily is depicted on the crane’s wing. Four colours are applied: yellow, green, brown and violet.
