The askos is coloured with a tubular neck and a bow shaped handle. It’s base was the askos found in Karmir Blour dating back to the 8th-7th cc. BC. The body of the vessel is decorated with checkered, beamed, geometrical and other ornamental patterns. The painting is made in yellow-red and brown hues on a whitish foundation.
