Description

The vessel is made in the likeness of bronze vessels found in the vicinity of Karmir Blur, dating back to the 8 th-7th century BC. The lip of the vessel is decorated with a row of yellow and grey rectangles, and the ornamental band, running along the centre of the body, is decorated with black and cinnamon circles on a yellow foundation. The decoration is complemented by three onlaid sculptures of a bull’s head on the band.
