The statue of King Gagik I, holding a model of a three-storey church, was placed on the northern façade of the Church of St Gregory/Gagkashen in Ani, facing the main entrance to the city.
The statue is reproduced from a photograph taken by Aram Vruyr at the Ani Karadaran (Repository of Stones).
