Pendant. Tetradrachm of King Artavazd II

Description

The bust of Artavazd II shows the king looking right, wearing five-pointed Armenian tiara. The tiara is adorned with an eight-pointed star, inscribed into a beaded quadrangle. His royal garment is buckled on the right shoulder. The king has an ear-ring on his ear and a double coiling necklace on his neck. The portrait is ensclosed into a fillet border.
