Earrings «Water drop» (by the exemple of the Temple Adornment), Shushi, Artsakh, 19th century.

Earrings are an integral part of a woman’s headdress and have been known since ancient times. Initially worn as talismans, they reached the Middle Ages as adornments. The presented earrings are made in the resemblance of those parts of the Syunik-Artsakh hook adornment, which were attached directly to the kerchief. The silver earrings are handmade in the technique of filigree.
