Description

Pendant «Heart Button» (big),  Meghri, Zangezur, 19th century.

“Heart button” or similar adornments were worn by women and men. Hung on the neck suspended on a long chain, the ornament was fixed on any part of the chest. In particular, similar adornments are known in the urban costumes of Akhaltskha, Shamakhi, and Meghri. The silver pendant is handmade with the technique of filigree.
