This original egg-shaped pendant is an imitation of decorative pendants of faience produced in Kutina in the 18th century. In their egg decorations, masters of Kutina used white, which symbolized virgin purity, the sky-blue as the cloudless sky, yellow as the sun and origin of life, and green as a sign of flowering. Egg-shaped pendants decorated chandeliers and lanterns of churches; they were suspended from the ceiling, creating a connection between the heaven and the earth.
Such egg-shaped pendants were original accessories in the interior design.
