A replica of an early Bronze Age karas (clay vessel) discovered at the Shengavit archaeological site, dating back to the 3rd millennium BC. The main decorative motif of the karas consists of wavy bands symbolising water and stretching upon the vessel body. At the ends of the bands, bird-headed dragons are depicted as guardians of the water and the contents of the vessel. On the upper part is an image of a stork with an open beak, which, according to ancient beliefs, was the announcer of spring and the symbol of the sun.
